On the Trail
Our campaign team was at Odessa Deutschesfest on Saturday, enjoying the fun atmosphere of this annual festival celebrating Odessa’s heritage. We also had a great time joining the Valleyfest festivities in Spokane Valley. Spirits were very high with strong polling showing House Republicans keeping the majority and Donald Trump expected to win the White House. Fun at the Fair(s)!
Our campaign had a busy weekend all over Eastern Washington. Eleanor and I had a great time at the Walla Walla Fair & Frontier Days, meeting people at the fairgrounds and seeing the Rodeo. Great to be at Pullman’s National Lentil Festival!
Eleanor and I started Saturday early with the Tase T. Lentil 5K fun run down through the beautiful WSU campus, and then joined the festival parade with the children, my mom Dee and great volunteers. Thanks to everyone who helped me to 437 “high-fives” along the parade route! Washington state is one of the top US producers of lentils and it was great to celebrate our farmers and community.
