We started last Saturday in Medical Lake for the Founders Day parade. The progress made since the devastating Gray Road fire is a testament to the leadership and positivity of many Medical Lake community members including Mayor Terri Cooper. The wind didn’t dampen spirits and I counted more than 300 high fives!
The same day we traveled north for the Colville Rodeo Parade. It was great to see the folks from Cormac Coil and Arden Tree Farms. If elected to Congress I’ll be a strong advocate for our timber and mining industries that are so important to our rural communities.
It was a rainy Tuesday evening for Spokane’s Summer Parkways event on the South Hill, but we waved signs and served hundreds of hot cocoas alongside the Otter pops!
